50th Anniversary Celebration 

Little Learners Lodge is celebrating its 50th anniversary, and we’re marking this milestone with a Lowcountry Oyster Roast full of delicious food, fellowship, and fond memories.

This special adult evening will bring together:

  • Current and former Little Learners Lodge & Montessori of Mount Pleasant families

  • Past and present teachers

  • Neighbors, community members, and supporters

  • Entry and all you can eat oysters!

      • Assorted Fresh Cut Fruit Tray

      • Pimento Cheese Spread with Assorted Crackers

      • Tomato Basil Bruschetta with Garlic Toasted Crostini

Thank you for your interest in the demonstration facility at Little Learners Lodge and Montessori of Mount Pleasant. Our school is intentionally small and designed to support families who are interested in the RIE and Montessori methods of early childhood education for their children. During the onboarding process we will share the many facets of our program which includes professional training, parent resource opportunities, and advocacy. Our goal is to partner with parents through Kindergarten graduation. Attending the Open House is the first step in cultivating that relationship

In this 3-hour introductory course, you’ll receive an overview of the Educaring® Approach, learning how this work encourages adult caregivers to see young children as competent and capable humans from birth. The Approach seeks to help parents and professionals build stable, secure, healthy relationships with infants and toddlers, encouraging the children’s natural abilities from the very start.

Join us for an intimate study experience designed for educators, caregivers, administrators, and others passionate about respectful care, Montessori-informed practice, and early childhood environments rooted in Pikler principles. All sessions are offered via Zoom.
