Mr. Noah

CGMS Primary Montessori Certified Teacher

Mr. Noah brings four years of Montessori teaching experience from Chicago to Little Learners Lodge. Originally from the Boston area, Noah earned his degree from Xavier University in Cincinnati before pursuing Montessori certification and discovering a passion for child-centered education.

Noah's journey into education began while volunteering in a third-grade classroom as a high school student. Witnessing the classroom serve as a consistent, safe place for children inspired him to combine his studies in psychology and social work with a career in education. Today, he is passionate about creating an environment where every child feels welcomed, respected, and empowered to be themselves.

A strong believer in the Montessori philosophy, Noah values the incredible capabilities of children when they are given the opportunity to explore, problem-solve, and learn independently. He believes observation is one of a teacher's greatest tools, allowing children the space to develop confidence, creativity, conflict-resolution skills, and a genuine love of learning. His goal is to nurture not only academic growth but also the whole child.

One of Noah's most meaningful experiences as an educator came while supporting a child experiencing big emotions on the playground. By shifting his approach and inviting the child to share what he was feeling, Noah witnessed the power of listening with patience and empathy—a lesson that continues to shape the way he builds trusting relationships with children every day.

Noah also loves incorporating each child's unique interests into the classroom. One of his favorite memories was creating a Montessori three-part card lesson featuring Chicago's professional and collegiate sports teams for a student who was passionate about sports. Seeing the excitement it brought the child and receiving heartfelt appreciation from the family reinforced his belief that meaningful learning begins by honoring children's individual passions.

Above all, Noah hopes every child leaves his classroom feeling confident, capable, and excited to pursue what inspires them. He believes Montessori education helps children recognize their own potential and discover that they are capable of far more than they may realize.
